Mumbai – In a shocking incident, Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife by an intruder at his Mumbai residence in the early hours of Thursday, January 16, 2025. The actor sustained multiple injuries, including two deep wounds, during the alleged burglary attempt.
According to Dr. Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, Saif suffered six injuries, with two minor, two intermediate, and two deep wounds. One of the injuries is located near his spine, prompting the involvement of a neurosurgeon in his surgery.
Following the medical procedure, Saif’s team released a statement confirming that the actor is “out of danger” and recovering well. “He is currently under observation, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe, and the police are investigating the incident,” the statement added.
DCP Dixit Gedam confirmed that the intruder broke into Saif’s 12th-floor house in the Satguru Sharan building, Bandra, with the intention of committing burglary. The incident occurred around 2:30 am, and the intruder fled the scene after attacking Saif.
