Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Mahakumbh 2025 at Prayagraj on February 5, where he will take the holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. The Prime Minister’s visit coincides with Magh Ashtami, a spiritually significant day in the Hindu calendar.
According to reports, PM Modi will take the holy dip in the Ganga, perform aarti of the river, and offer prayers. He may also visit Akshayvat, Saraswati Koop, and Bade Hanuman Mandir to offer prayers.
The Mahakumbh 2025, which began on January 13, has already witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with over 110 million devotees taking a holy dip in the sacred waters of Prayagraj during the first 14 days.
Home Minister Amit Shah took the holy dip at the Mahakumbh 2025 on Sunday. The event holds great spiritual significance, with February 5 also marking Bhishma Ashtami, a day commemorated in Hindu tradition to honor Bhishma’s spiritual journey.
Notably, February 5 is also voting day for the Delhi Elections 2025.
