Maharashtra Board Exams 2025: HSC and SSC exam dates announced, appeal for cheating-free campaign

Nasik – Correspondent

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the dates for SSC and HSC examinations. The HSC exams will be held from February 11 to March 18, while the SSC exams are scheduled from February 21 to March 17.

To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, the Maharashtra Government and the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education are working together to make the examinations copy-free, fear-free and hassle-free.

A video conference meeting was held in this regard under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of the Government of Maharashtra and in the presence of the Principal Secretary of the Department of School Education and Sports and the Education Commissioner of the State of Maharashtra. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary appealed to make the copy-free campaign a success across the state to prevent any kind of copying incidents during the examination.

To ensure fair and copy-free examinations, the Maharashtra Government has implemented various measures. Sensitive examination centers will be monitored by drones and video recording will be done outside these centers. The district administration will verify that all the necessary physical facilities are available at the examination centers a day before the commencement of the examination.

Flying squads and sitting squads will be deployed at all examination centers to prevent cheating. Additionally, facial recognition systems will be used to verify the identity of center supervisors, invigilators and other exam-related personnel. Authorized identity cards will also be issued to all exam-related personnel.

To maintain order, Section 144 will be enforced around the examination centers and photocopy centers within 500 meters of these centers will remain closed during the examination period. In case of any disturbance, punishable and non-bailable offenses will be registered against those involved. Secretary Dr. Madhuri Savarkar has appealed to all students, parents, teachers and examination-related personnel to pay attention to these measures.
