Ayodhya – Agency
The Ayodhya Ram Mandir trust has issued an advisory for pilgrims ahead of Mauni Amavasya “Amrit Snan” on Wednesday, urging devotees from nearby areas to delay their visit by 15-20 days to ease congestion. This move comes as a large gathering of devotees has flocked to Ayodhya from Prayagraj, making it challenging for authorities to manage the situation.
The trust has requested devotees to plan their visit after Vasant Panchami, which falls on February 2, when the intensity of gatherings is expected to subside. The weather in February is also expected to be pleasant, making it an ideal time for a visit.
Key Highlights:
- Devotee Influx: Approximately 10 crore devotees are expected to take a holy dip in Prayagraj on the day of Mukhya Snan.
- Congestion Relief: Devotees from nearby areas are requested to delay their visit by 15-20 days to ease congestion.
- Vasant Panchami: The trust has recommended planning visits after Vasant Panchami, which falls on February 2.
- Auspicious Timings: Vasant Panchami Madhyahna Moment will be at 12:35 PM, with Panchami Tithi beginning at 9:14 AM on February 2 and ending at 6:52 AM on February 3.
